In order to respond to this need, the City of Torre Pacheco through the Department of Equality, has launched for the third consecutive year, the Summer Schools.
The Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Verónica Martínez, visited the Summer School at the Garre Alpáñez de Balsicas school, which has 44 children of different ages.
This School joins those that are also being carried out in the CEIP Fontes de Torre Pacheco, and in the CEIPs of Infant and Primary of El Jimenado, Roldán, Dolores de Pacheco and San Cayetano.
The Summer Schools are held from June 25 to July 31, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and cost € 50 per child, an affordable price for families, subsidized by the City Council.
The Councilor for Equality, has commented that "almost 200 students participate this year in these summer schools that have been scheduled from the council and that are developed in Torre Pacheco, Balsicas, Roldán, San Cayetano, El Jimenado and Dolores de Pacheco. of 100 families benefit from this service, thus reconciling work and family life in this summer period "has also highlighted" the wide schedule of schools that ranges from 8.00 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon, adding that this The opening weeks of the Municipal Summer Schools have been extended, making it easier for the children to have fun while their parents are working.
