Yesterday, Wednesday, March 13, the Municipal Fronton was held for the first time, a local final in the sport of Nano Nana, school age, from the start to fighting sports.

A day, organized by the Department of Sports, the City Council of Torre Pacheco, which has had the collaboration of the Wrestling Federation of the Region of Murcia, and volunteer students in practice, IPFP Claudio Galeno Campus.

Emphasizing once again, the involvement of teachers in the schools of the municipality, and the collaboration of the usual companies.

260 elementary students from ten schools in the municipality of Torre Pacheco, participated with a total of four teams per center, made up of five schoolchildren, two in the male and female category, and two in the juvenile category.

Fighting activities bring virtues, such as the development of the sense of touch;

the aggressiveness is discharged and controlled;

increases responsibility;

Basic motor skills are developed, especially displacement and turns;

all basic physical qualities are worked in a globalized way: strength, endurance, speed and flexibility;

and you learn to accept the rules of the group and respect the rest of your classmates.

The students have practiced games such as: "Touch the object", "Remove the tail", "The rock", "The bridge of the fighter", "Take out of the circle" and "Grand prize".

The winners of this phase, have been, in Youngest child the school Ntra. Mrs. of the Rosary, and in feminine, the Fontes school;

and in masculine alevín, the school Ntra. Sra. de los Dolores, and in feminine the Hernández Artideta.

These centers will be those that represent our municipality, in the regional final of the Nano Nana on April 5 in Torre Pacheco.

The current champion of Spain and International Champion, of Greco-Roman Wrestling, in school category and cadet, Gerónimo Cámara, native of Torre Pacheco, will participate this weekend with the Murcian Territorial Federation, in the Championship of Spain, which takes place in Torre del Field, Jaén.
