The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, together with councilors of the Government Team, as well as the Chief Officer of the Local Police, Civil Guard Sergeant, Sergeant-Chief of the Mar Menor Fire Station, Civil Protection Coordinator of Torre Pacheco have held a coordination meeting on Tuesday, September 10 with the aim of coordinating the actions of the different municipal services and emergencies before the orange alert due to heavy rains declared by the AEMET for next Thursday, where rainfall of up to 100mm in 12 hours in the municipality.
Torre Pacheco activates the pre-emergency phase in the face of the forecast of heavy rains in coordination with the INUNMUR Plan, and both the municipal services, which have been working for days to prevent the consequences of rains and avenues, such as emergency services, are prepared to act in case of incidents of different types occur during the next few days.
