This morning, in the parish of Our Lady of the Rosary of Torre Pacheco, an extraordinary Episcopal Council convened by the Bishop was held, to later visit the area and know, first hand, the damages caused by the cold drop in the municipalities from the area of ​​Campo de Cartagena - Mar Menor.
After the Council, they have met with affected families in the area and visited the San José Obrero neighborhood of Torre Pacheco.
Then, the Mayor, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation has received the bishops and vicars in the City Hall.
León has reported on the current situation of the municipality, and highlighted once again, the solidarity of the people of Torre Pacheco, with the affected neighbors.
For his part, the Bishop highlighted the work of all the volunteers and recalled that from Cáritas they will continue to help those who have been affected by the floods.
