The City of Torre Pacheco hosted the presentation of this solidarity initiative, of the Track & Field Sport Team Sports Club, "Chain of Favors", a Solidarity Campaign whose collection will go entirely to those affected by the floods of last September 13 and told with the presence of the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Sports, Oscar Montoya, the Councilor for Social Services, Maria José López, among other members of the Municipal Corporation, as well as, the sports director, Juan A. Gatón, and Club members.
An initiative, as Gatón commented, that arises while trying to help colleagues and friends affected by the devastating consequences of the DANA, emerging the idea of ​​contacting five friends athletes to make a raffle, these in turn called another five and This way, until the selfless participation of 60 elite athletes of different specialties, who participate in this solidarity bid, with very significant clothes and objects for these athletes.
The solidarity bid is made through the official Facebook page of the Track and Field Sport Team Club, and ends next Monday, September 30 at 10 in the morning.
The Board of Directors of the Sports Club has appreciated the great acceptance that this project is having, encouraging them to participate and bid for a good cause.
Montoya, thanked this great initiative and said that on November 15 at the Sports Gala in Torre Pacheco, an act will be given to deliver the money raised.
For his part, López reiterated once again the solidarity received and highlighted the great work of the Track & Field Sport Team Sports Club, thanking this initiative.
