The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, attended today the start of the renovation and repair firm MR-F51 road that connects the town of Torre Pacheco with the deputation of Pozo Estrecho Cartagena.

The responsible regional recalled that the work of the RM-F51 road adds to the repair firm that took place in the RM-F22 road, which runs between Torre Pacheco and his village of Balsicas, which concluded ago just two months and "it has led to a marked improvement in the movement of heavy vehicles engaged in agricultural activity in the municipality."
It is, therefore, that the Minister stressed "the special attention of the demands of the Campo de Cartagena" where "important towns, many inhabitants and an important economic activity is concentrated, which leads us to give this area better infrastructure ".
The works, which have a budget of 306,321 euros and a lead time of four months, will involve an improved understanding drawn between kilometers 1,265 and 5,030 of the regional road, which gives access to the trade fair institution of the town (IFEPA ) crosses over the railway Murcia-Cartagena, rambla Albujón and reaches Pozo Estrecho, where it joins the RM-311 (Albujón-Los Beatos).
It aims to increase road safety for the road, which recorded an average daily traffic of 3,000 vehicles per day and more than one million annual movements, of which about 80,000 are heavy vehicles carrying food products.
The work will focus on sanitizing and rehabilitation of the firm, which has a deteriorated condition and an uneven surface due largely to significant heavy traffic.
