Councillor of Finance and Communications and spokesman for the local government team, Carlos Lopez, attended the presentation of these meetings, organized by the Platform in Defence of the Health "Save the Rosell", to be held in La Union and Cartagena the on 23 and 24 April.
The presentation, held in the city of Cartagena, attended by the Mayor of the city, Jose Lopez, the mayor of La Union, Pedro Lopez, President of the Platform Save the Rosell, Leandro Sanchez and primary care physician Jose Eduardo Caballero.
Lopez thanked the Platform "the work of the Campo de Cartagena and Mar Menor, which ended last March with the approval of the Regional Assembly of the reopening of the Hospital del Rosell," and encouraged other representatives local to continue working "together as a team" to claim more resources for hospital and primary care area 2 and area 8 health centers.
Carlos Lopez also denounced "the lack of resources at the University Hospital of Los Arcos del Mar Menor, waiting lists in the fields and the collapse of emergency" and said it is necessary that "all social partners in defense of health public and local authorities to build a common front to prevent damage to the hospital they attended most pachequeros and pachequeras ".
This first edition of the National Days of Activism in Defense of Public Health have been organized by the Platform in Defence of the Health Salvemos The Rosell, by the Association of Users of Health of the Region of Murcia and the Association in Defense Public Health of the Region of Murcia.
The first day, Saturday April 23, activities will take place in the Old Market of the Union, while the conclusions and closing on Sunday 24 will be based in Cartagena, in the Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy.
Registration for the conference is free and must complete a form and indicate the worktable in which they wish to participate.
