The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment Development through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia organizes this campaign in which collaborates the City of Torre Pacheco.
Students in grades 5 primary schools in this municipality, have participated in this campaign, which aims to inform students of the risks they have in their environment, at school, at home and on journeys from home to school .
Through it it is intended that children are aware that their daily activities are subject to accidents due to possible falls, burns, workload, contact with toxic chemicals, electrical hazards, bumps and shocks, cuts, wounds and chafing, fires and explosions, asphyxia and respiratory obstructions ......
A campaign is not exclusive for younger, as children, when they get the talk, discuss with their parents and these in turn reflect on the risks they have in their daily activities.
The informative talks lasting 50 minutes, have been taught by technical personnel of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
As educational, fun and easy to use, adapted to the students, participatory comic materials are used, in which the student besides observing funny situations, can detect the dangers surrounding him in his daily work.
The campaign has a website, www.creceenseguidad.com, in which all followers of the campaign can also play, learn, both the content and topicality of the campaign.
At the end of the talks a drawing contest, in which children have shaped their vision of the campaign, was made very creative and didactic drawings that have hindered the work of the jury, who have finally chosen five winners, who will participate in the stage of the competition at the regional level.
In the afternoon yesterday the Director General of Industrial Relations and Social Economy, Leopoldo Navarro Quiles, accompanied by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio Leon, and members of Municipal Corporation, were responsible for congratulate and deliver some gifts to awarded.
The winners were:
- Alejandro Galindo Almagro, school Virgen del Pasic, Torre-Pacheco.
- Nerea García Rubio, Garre Alpañez school, Balsicas.
- Maria Garcia Sanchez, Virgen del Pasico school.
- Leonardo Sinotti Herrero, school Alba, Roldan.
- Ivan Sanchez Saura, school Ardieta Hernandez Roldan.
Both the Director General and the Mayor stressed the importance of prevention, and work from small, and appreciated the great work of the educational community.
