at the Civic Center Torre-Pacheco, you can see Astral, the first Salvados of the big screen.
This is a documentary about Proactiva Open Arms, a non-governmental organization whose main mission is to rescue the sea to refugees arriving in Europe.
The presenter, Jordi Évole, after living first-hand with this NGO as rescue people on the coast of Libya, asked the cinemas that the film was exhibited.
The film, which is projected morning in Torre-Pacheco, leads to the big screen drama of refugees trying to cross the Mediterranean in search of a future in Europe, the project has a supportive background, since the benefits obtained from the ticket sales will go entirely to Proactiva Open Arms and its work on behalf of refugees.
The "Astral" is an old luxury motor yacht 30 meters long, fully remodeled to be equipped with all navigation systems, rescue and health care necessary for their new surveillance and rescue.
The "Anton Pillar" and the city of Torre-Pacheco Cultural Association join forces to collaborate in this great project with this film programming, tomorrow Friday, October 14, at 21.30 h.
