Last Tuesday, April 4, in the Center of Social Services of Torre Pacheco was held the third coordination meeting on homeless people and passersby that groups the municipalities that are part of the countryside of Cartagena and are San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Los Alcazares, Torre Pacheco, Cartagena, The union, Fuente Álamo and Mazarrón.
In these meetings it is tried to put in value the existing resources in the region as well as to coordinate the actions in subjects of homeless people and passers-by.
In addition, a visit was made to the resources that are available in the municipality of Torre Pacheco such as the Home of the Passer together with the church of Torre Pacheco and the Hostel Los Melendres in El Jimenado.
These meetings are framed as one of the actions carried out by the Housing Office whose objective is to respond to the current needs of the population in this area.
