The City Council of Torre-Pacheco has installed for the first time, a thread track in which neighbors and visitors can enjoy during all the Christmas holidays.
This novel initiative is having a very good reception by the residents of the municipality and especially by the smallest, likewise, the schools are making trips during school hours to practice skating, in addition they have also made visits, associations such as Aidemar and Cáritas.
The profits collected will go to the Association of Volunteers of Civil Protection of Torre-Pacheco, a group that works and watches over the safety and proper functioning of the events organized in the municipality.
The ecological ice rink is more respectful with the environment as it does not need energy, although the sensations for the skaters are the same as on the traditional ice rink.
