Today the Regional Cross Country Championship has been held, in the form of physical activity and school sports, children, cadet and juvenile categories in Puerto Lumbreras.
50 schoolchildren from secondary schools in the municipality of Torre-Pacheco have competed in the cross-country modality, where the Pasico II runner, Taha Rebai, has finished 3rd in the boys' category.
Highlight of the day, the good participation of children, the collaboration of teachers, as well as the good atmosphere lived by more than 1200 participants in this sporting activity.
The general director of Sports, Alonso Gómez, the director and head of School Sports in the Region of Murcia, Juan York, the president of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, Juanma Molina, among other authorities, as well as sports technicians from Torre-Pacheco City Council, have been present at this sports day.
