The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, accompanied by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, today announced the XVII Festival of Trinity and Berber, which is held in a county of 3 to 5 June.

The Trinity-Berber parties were born in 1996 at the initiative of José Miguel Rodríguez, a historian and researcher at the Villa de Torre Pacheco.
The events recall the dreaded Barbary raids that struck the shores of the Mar Menor and the Campo de Cartagena over the centuries XV, XVI and XVII and hindered the settlement of this area.
The celebrations begin next Friday, June 3 at 19:00 pm with a parade.

The sessions on Saturday, June 4, starts at 13:00 with a parade.
At 21:30 am a parade will take place Trinity-Berber and 23:00 hours a traveling show with dancing and fireworks.
At midnight there will be a concert by the square Depolisemen Vicente Antón.
Finally, on Sunday 6, the last day of the festivities will be held at 13:00 a parade that will include music of oboes, bagpipes and drums, accompanied by belly dancers.
At 22:00 there will be music and fireworks show, 'The Fire'.
Other activities
The Feast of Trinity and Berbers will this year also has a children's corner, which will include workshops on Saturday, finger paint and clay and mud and story of the Tower of But Pacheco.
