Torre-Pacheco invests € 1.3 million in two projects to create jobs (08/09/2011)

This morning the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, and Director of the Regional Employment and Training, Ginés Martínez presented in the Press Room of the City of Torre-Pacheco projects boosting employment, subsidized by the SEF (Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community of Murcia: CECOCRE and Municipal Employment Plan

The school workshop CECOCRE (Center of Knowledge Creation) is the rehabilitation of the former Our Lady of the Rosary College-bound to create a space for culture, knowledge and creativity, which will accommodate partnerships and groups in the municipality, which manage their needs within that environment.

It is the call to responsibility for the prize of effort, the concept of maximizing the resources available.

Trained a total of 37 unemployed youth in the following 4 fields: electrician buildings (installation and maintenance - 10 employees), painting of buildings (10 workers), urban gardening and productive (10 workers) and masonry (7 employees) .

The project will be in 24 months.

There will be a first phase of training for 6 months and three phases of equal duration in which alternate with practical training and work experience, playing a real job, which developed during the process of rehabilitation and reform of the old school Nuestra Ms. Del Rosario for their adaptation to new content and features associated with known CECOCRE.

The rehabilitation of the school is part of the EDUDIS, including the new Library, the new school of Rosario and a series of plazas and gardens.

The total project is around one million euros, funded entirely by the SEF and funded by the European Social Fund.

Municipal Employment Plan is a grant designed to promote employment in the trades, and temporary employment by the City for completion of municipal services and social activities and general interest.

It will hire 12 workers unemployed.

The management of the procurement is being conducted by the Office of the SEF in Torre-Pacheco.

The hiring will take place from mid September 2011 and will last for nine months from the date of the contract (June 2012).

The grant has a total of 218,545.83 euros and is awarded by the SEF and financed by the European Social Fund.

This grant program is framed within the "Local Public Employment for the maintenance of facilities and municipal services."
