This morning the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, and the Councillor for Finance, M ª Dolores Valcarcel, have released the results obtained with the implementation of austerity plans 2009/2010 and 2011/2012.

These plans are necessary and sufficient measures to more effectively address the difficult situation in which the country is immense, continuing the line of action initiated by the City in 2008.

These plans set out measures for cost containment and measures to optimize revenue.

Thanks to these austerity plans and sustainability plan 2011, the municipality of Torre Pacheco has managed to save over four years 7.5 million euros (110,000 euros in telephone advertising 140,000 euros, 65,000 euros thanks to energy saving plan , € 50,000 in office supplies, 170,000 euros in building rental ...)

Despite this significant savings, the City of Torre-Pacheco will continue working on new plans to move forward, optimizing resources and boosting the town.
