This morning has been unveiled at the CAES Air programming the XXVI edition of the Villa Theatre Week Torre-Pacheco.
This year will be held from 9 to 25 April.
This edition has a wide selection of 6 performances, with big players to delight an audience that after 26 years is becoming more demanding and more discretion.
We see the local group "The Shawl" to Millan Salcedo or drama in English among others.
In the town there is a great theatrical culture and the proof is the excellent reception that year after year, are the works that are increasing in quality and prestige.
Devote one week each year to the theater, coinciding with spring, was an idea born in 1985, to meet the demand of the municipality's citizens, cultural performances.
Today it has become a landmark for lovers of this art.
Those early works performed by school groups were gradually giving way to professional companies, the first regional and then national, to ensure currently programming that ranges from the amateur group assembly, represented by the local group, "The Shawl ", a national assembly, closer to Torre-Pacheco recent premieres and performances by renowned artists.
Friday 9 and Saturday 10 April: The Shawl presents "Aunt Carlos" by Brandon Thomas.
The theater group The Shawl, after his experience in representing works of great comedy, this year has chosen "The Aunt of Carlos" the English playwright Brandon Thomas, a contemporary of Oscar Wilde, where humor along the lines of many of the works by this represented group, opt for this comedy where the entanglements abound, misunderstandings and coincidences.
