González Tovar mayor has proposed to sign an agreement for the protection of victims of gender violence
The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board Torre Pacheco, next to the town's mayor, Daniel García Madrid, to analyze the current situation of public security in the municipality and the beginning of the procedures for accession to the framework agreements for collaboration on public safety and to protect victims of domestic violence between the Ministry of Interior and the City.
With regard to the provision of the Civil Guard in Torre Pacheco, González Tovar has very much appreciated the efforts of the Government of Spain to increase troop.
Today the barracks has 60 officers, 130 percent more than in 2004, which had 26 guards.
These troops are distributed among those assigned to the Main Post and SEPRONA Unit, Unit for Arms and Judicial Police.
This significant increase occurred over recent years enabled turn last year in leading positions, thus acquiring a higher level of quality service delivery to citizens, since they are structured in various specialized areas, under the needs of the population, such as citizen services, crime prevention, immediate response and investigation of crimes.

Collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Interior

For Gonzalez Tovar "is a valuable tool to share information as may be achieved better coordination among different police forces and thus greater speed in their actions and, ultimately, greater operational efficiencies."
