The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca, visited with the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid and the Director General of Department, M ª José Jiménez, works in the new building of the CEIP Nuestra Señora del Rosario, which is move students from next year, and CEIP Los Cachimanes, of Roland, whose activities will also begin next September.
The new school building Our Lady of the Rosary will maintain the three lines of child education and primary three of which currently account for what we have 9 classrooms and 12 primary school children, and five other support classes, a psychomotor, an audio-visual, multi-purpose one, a computer room, a psychology, a speech and hearing and speech.
The building was designed by architect Martin Lejárraga and represents an investment of 4 million euros, financed entirely by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.
Moreover, the new CEIP Los Cachimanes, of Roland will have six classrooms and twelve Primary Children, a multipurpose room, classroom, pencil case, a library, multipurpose room, four support and gym, and students may enroll at 450.
Represents an investment of 3,300,000 euros, of which the Ministry has provided 3,100,000 euros.
These are investments, including in the infrastructure improvement plan of the Social Pact for Education, which will lead to better educational facilities in the municipality of Torre Pacheco and cover the schooling needs of the area.

Bilingual
During his visit to the municipality, the Minister also attended a bilingual classroom CEIP Nuestra Señora del Rosario where he could test the English proficiency level of students, while I can see that this is a regional reference center and is on national and multicultural coexistence.
