On Thursday it opened in Balsicas a garden in honor of Juan Sanmartin Ros.
This act is a sign of public recognition and tribute to the memory of Mr. Sanmartin Ros, as an example of generosity and altruism citizen of this lady (RIP) and their closest relatives, the creation of a new garden in the hamlet of Balsicas .
John was born on February 25, 1928, in The Warren Farm, located between the villages of Avileses Balsicas and his father, D.
Sanmartin Juan Buendia, was devoted to the work of the farm manager, and John followed in his footsteps, entering the agriculture and livestock, work with his father for the care and maintenance of the farm, making it his profession and livelihood.
John was a neighbor and borrowed willing to work wherever it was required.
Assisted in the renovation work of the parish school, church and other public buildings for the service of citizens.

City Hall gave a small portion of land devoted to widen the Olive Street to the football field in this parish.
Since 1951, lived in Los Cortao, inheriting his father's land that now belong to their children and grandchildren, some of them occupy the public square that bears his name.
