The Torre-Pacheco Town Council through the Department of Environment prepared a campaign last Friday of activities with the aim of promoting information, awareness and responsible citizen participation in the continuous improvement of the environment.
There are all kinds of workshops related to the environment and care for children in Torre-Pacheco raise awareness on everything to get your immediate environment is ecologically healthy.
Building on this day, awards were drawing contest "Windmills" which has organized the Department of Tourism.

First Prize (200 €): Students at 3 ° C of primary Colegio Virgen del Carmen (Cartagena).

Second Prize (50 €): Students of 1 B Primary School Lapuerta Jose M ª (Cartagena).
Collect Award Teacher: Emily Lage.
Special mention to the College of Cartagena Azorín
There is a paper presented by the College Azorín (Marfagones Mills, Cartagena), which remains out of competition.
Benito García Soto, a professor at the Centre prepared a monograph book entitled "The Dock" on the occasion of the visit of students to our mills in November 2009.
This visit was the culmination of a series of works with students during the past school year on the field mills Cartagena.
