The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation, in Torre Pacheco, to clarify an alleged case of illegal detention that has culminated in the arrest of two people.
One of them, in addition, is attributed the alleged responsibility for the crime of sexual assault and serious injuries.
The investigation began when the Civil Guard was alerted, through the 1-1-2, of the sanitary transfer of a wounded woman from a home in Torre Pacheco to the Los Arcos hospital in San Javier.
The sanitary protocol that facilitates the communication of this type of cases, for injuries of violent origin, allowed the agents to find out that the young woman had been treated in a house, from where the presence of emergency medical services had been required.
Due to the wounds that it presented in the thorax, abdomen, arms and legs it was transferred to the hospital center.
Once stabilized, the agents interviewed the patient woman, 31 years old and of Moroccan nationality, who reported that her aunt and a compatriot kept her confined in a house in Torre Pacheco, since the end of last April, when she moved with them from the province of Huelva.
Under deceit, and with the promise of a free accommodation and to obtain a work contract and its regularization in Murcia, one of the arrested ones made use of his situation of helplessness to force it to have sexual relations while the other, aunt of the victim, He covered up the facts.
Assaulted to prevent his escape from the home
The victim told the officers that, through force and violence, they prevented her from leaving the house, where she remained confined in one of the rooms from the day she arrived at the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
In one of her attempts to escape, she was seriously assaulted.
His release was triggered when, in a last attempt of sexual aggression, this one resisted and fell faint so, before the fear that his life was in danger, his captors alerted the 1-1-2.
The investigation has culminated with the identification, location and detention of a Moroccan man and 68 years as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of illegal detention, sexual assault and serious injuries and a woman of Moroccan nationality and 51 years as alleged author of the crimes of illegal detention and concealment.
Those arrested and the proceedings ordered have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 7 of San Javier (Murcia), who has ordered the entry into prison of the arrested man.
The investigation continues open so that new arrests are not ruled out.
