The second edition of the Festival of Performing Arts directed to Educational Centers of the Municipality will be held from May 24 to June 7 in two scenic spaces, the Civic Center of Torre Pacheco and the Performing Arts Center.
The presentation ceremony took place on the morning of today with the presence of the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León and the Councilor for Education and Youth, Conchi Martínez, as well as representatives of the participating centers.
The program was presented by the Councilor for Education, Conchi Martínez, Isabel Cánovas, Head of Studies at IES Gerardo Molina, Juan Manuel Sánchez, Professor of Language and Literature at the Ntra Center. Sra. De los Dolores, Cruz de la Ossa, language teacher of the IES Sabina Mora and Cristina Lozoya, president of the Cultural Association of Teatro Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario.
This initiative comes from the Municipal School Council and developed its first edition last year.
EducaEscena aims to develop the creativity of schoolchildren, bringing them closer to Performing Arts, a program that offers students the opportunity to get on stage, to a great stage such as CAES, where usually great artists perform.
This program, organized by the Department of Culture and Education gives the opportunity to teachers and students to show their creativity and staging, as well as to make known their work to colleagues and family.
A program that gives the opportunity to the Institutes Gerardo Molina and Sabina Mora, as well as the Ntra. Sra. De los Dolores School and the Primary Theater Workshop of the Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario Association, to take the stage before a enthusiastic public to enjoy the performance of these young actors.
The works will be performed in the morning for students both in the municipality and outside and in the afternoon for parents and the general public.
All functions are free and free entry until full capacity.
On Thursday May 24 the curtain rises the Primary Theater Workshop, of the Cultural Association of Teatro Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario by Torre Pacheco, with two works "La Princesa Traviesa, Pedrito y un Patito" and "Comotú", both functions will be represented in the Civic Center of Torre Pacheco.
On Thursday, May 31, it will be the turn of IES Gerardo Molina with "Romeo y Julieta", at the Performing Arts Center, on Monday, June 4, the turn is for the CPEI Bas Ntra. Sra. De los Dolores with the work " Horacios contra Curiacios ", also at CAES;
closing the festival Jarandá Theater of the IES Sabina Mora de Roldán with "The Trees die standing".
