The head of the regional executive, Fernando López Miras, met today in Cartagena with the managing director of the Palace of Fairs and Exhibitions of the Region of Murcia (Ifepa), Antonio Miras, to address new forms of international promotion of this "fairground institution of reference in the Region of Murcia ", as reported by the Minister of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment, Javier Celdrán, who explained that this action could be specified through an agreement with the Institute for Development.
López Miras transferred the support of the regional government to an institution that "although it is located in Torre Pacheco, its dimension is regional," said Celdrán, adding that "we are very satisfied with the excellent management that is taking place and the coverage that is being given to those more than 14 annual fairs that take place there, and its almost 250,000 visitors.
Fairs that are regional and national reference but also, in some cases, international reference ".
The counselor also referred to the modernization of the facilities of Ifepa and opted to "design together a modernization project that we can address for the coming years."
In addition to Ifepa, Celdrán also stressed the importance of two other fair institutions "that are working very well", such as Lorca and Yecla.
