The General Direction of Labor Relations and Social Economy through the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety of the Region of Murcia organizes this campaign in which the City Council of Torre Pacheco collaborates.
Pupils and students of 5th grade of schools in this municipality, have participated in this Campaign, which aims to inform school children of the risks they have in their environment, in school, in their homes and on the way from home to school .
Through it is intended that children are aware, that in their daily activities are subject to accidents as a result of possible falls, burns, workload, contact with toxic products, electrical hazards, bumps and shocks, cuts, injuries and chafing, fires and explosions, asphyxia and respiratory obstructions, bad postural attitude, among others.
A campaign that is not exclusive to the little ones, since the children, when they receive the talk, comment with their parents and these in turn reflect on the risks they have in their daily activities.
The informative lectures with a duration of 50 minutes, have been given by technical staff of the Occupational Health and Safety Institute.
As a didactic, playful and easy-to-use material, adapted to the students, participatory comics are used, in which the student, besides observing fun situations, can detect the dangers that surround him in his daily work.
At the end of the talks a drawing contest was held, in which the children have expressed their vision of the campaign, some very creative and didactic drawings that have hindered the work of the jury, who have finally chosen 10 winners, who will participate in the contest phase at the regional level.
In the morning of today, at the CEIP Hernández Ardieta, the general director of Labor Relations and Social Economy, Nuria Fuentes García-Lax, accompanied by the Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, and members of the Municipal Corporation, were in charge of congratulate and give gifts to the winners.
The winners were:

- Hamza Azzouzout, from the Hernández Ardieta school.
- Pedro García Armero, from the Hernández Ardieta school.

- Mª Isabel Martínez, from the Hernández Ardieta school.
- Saúl Hernández Moreno, from the Hernández Ardieta school.
- Ainhoa ​​García Alcaraz, from the San Antonio school.
- Fatima Kasmi, from the Hernández Ardieta school.
- Paula Roca Olmo, from the Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario school.
Both the Director General and the Mayor highlighted the importance of prevention, and work from a young age, they valued the great work done by the educational community.
