The 10th edition of the Onda Cero Cartagena Awards was held on Thursday, June 21, at the El Batel Auditorium and Conference Center, highlighting actions that sometimes go unnoticed, but contribute to making society more human and developed.

The jury made up of Tomás Martínez, Deputy Director of Mecánicas Bolea, Nuria Castillo, President of AMEP and Francisco Martín, director of the La Mar de Músicas Festival, have valued the initiatives, entities and people that during this year have stood out for their contribution, effort and values ​​in the District of Cartagena.

In this tenth edition of the Onda Cero Cartagena Awards, the jury has distinguished the Sima de las Palomas with the Tourism Prize, an award that was received by the First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism of the Torre Pacheco City Council, Rosalía Rosique, Repsol en the category of Science and Research, in the area of ​​Economics and Business to Mª José Rodero of Óptica Oxford, in the Area of ​​Environment the Platform Pact for the Mar Menor, in the category of Health, the Virgen de la Caridad Medical Center, the 75th Anniversary of the General Air Academy in the category of Education, in Sports the Board of Directors of FC Cartagena, in the category of Festivals and Traditions, the Week of the Orchard and the Mar Menor, the cook José María Alcaraz de Los Churrascos has been distinguished with the prize of Gastronomy, in the category of Human Values, the joint device that intervened in the wave of pateras last December, and in Culture, the poetess Mª

Some 400 people attended the Onda Cero Awards Ceremony, including the Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the Transparency and Spokesperson Councilor, Noelia Arroyo, Vice Admiral Manuel de la Puente, the Councilor for Tourism and First Lieutenant of Mayor of the City council of Torre Pacheco, Rosalía Rosique, accompanied of members of the Municipal Corporation, and technicians of Tourism, among other guests.
