The Center has 37 places, 30 of the IMAS and 7 municipal, and is currently 100%.
Alma-Ata, entity dedicated to the design, implementation and evaluation of social, educational and health programs, launches basic and specialized services, cognitive stimulation programs with a wide range of activities, physiotherapy, health programs, recreational , basic activities of daily life, among others.
In addition, it has a personalized transport and homemade meals.
The staff is made up of gerocultores, psychologist, social worker, physiotherapist, nurse, cook, and cleaning staff.
The Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Veronica Martinez, accompanied by the councilors Conchi Martinez and Yolanda Castaño, and the manager of Alma-Ata in Torre Pacheco Javier Contreras participated in the closing ceremony of the workshops, last Thursday, June 28.
The Councilor for Social Services took the opportunity to point out that the City Council will continue to work to increase the service for the elderly and dependents, pointing out that a collaboration agreement will be signed with the IMAS to extend the hours of home help, in the coming days.
After the interventions, a video was projected in which users participate, and proceeded to the delivery of diplomas and the placement of the caps to the users of the Day Center who have completed the workshops scheduled for this course, in addition to making delivery of a book with all his works.
