On June 27, the ordinary session of the Municipal Commission of Absenteeism and School Abandonment of the Municipality of Torre Pacheco was convened, which aims to prevent and eradicate absenteeism and school dropout in the municipality.
The Municipal Commission of Absenteeism and School Abandonment is composed of members of the City Council, educational centers, Autonomous Community, health services, Local Police, associations of parents and socio-educational mediators.
On the agenda of the same has been the presence of the Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Veronica Martinez, and the Councilor for Education and Youth, Conchi Martinez, along with Claudia Munuera, which is Technical Information Advisory and Studies, from the General Directorate of Family and Social Policies, which has addressed the protocol to be followed in cases of child abuse by the different institutions and agents involved in the municipality.
