The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, signed today with the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio Leon, the collaboration agreement for financing, with 174,636 euros, the home help service of the municipality for dependents.
The forecast provision corresponds to the 2018-2020 period.
The budget will be allocated to actions in the homes of people in situations of dependency, in order to meet the needs of their daily lives.
They can be services related to housework such as cleaning, washing, cooking or others, as well as personal attention and the performance of daily activities.
Among the improvements that the Department of Family and Equal Opportunities for dependent persons has implemented, the extension of the Home Help Service has been carried out, through an agreement, so that all the municipalities of the Region that request it can count on this service in the same conditions.
