This morning, in the City Council of Torre Pacheco, the Councilor for Sports, Raúl Lledó, the Sports Technician of this Department, Paco Jiménez, as well as the Police Officer, José Mercader, and the Civil Protection Coordinator, Antonio Jesús Sanmartín, have explained in what will be the "Simulation of action before an immersion syndrome", which will be held in the summer municipal pool of San Cayetano.
After the success of the last edition of the Simulation carried out by the City Council of Torre Pacheco, during the summer campaign in the Torre Pacheco municipal pool, this year it will take place in the San Cayetano municipal pool, next Saturday, July 28.
"A prevention measure that aims, in addition to putting the theory into practice, to prevent real situations that may arise during an immersion syndrome," said Raúl Lledó, sports councilor.
On the other hand, the sports technician has detailed the protocol of action that will be carried out, after detecting that a swimmer, is floating and unconscious in the sheet of water, proceeding to a rescue and evacuation of the bathers, setting in motion the protocol of acting before a drowned man.
An activity, which will have the coordination of the Technicians of the Department of Sports, Effective Municipal Police and Civil Protection, all of them necessary to successfully conclude the protocol of action.
