Four young people, three of them minors, have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of vehicle theft, falsification of documents and membership of a criminal organization
So far six crimes committed in Torre Pacheco and Los Alcázares have been clarified
In the record made, three vehicles, registration plates and documentation have been recovered
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of the operation 'ZANKRA', has dismantled a criminal group composed of four young people, based in Torre Pacheco and dedicated to the theft of mopeds.
In the domiciliary registry practiced, the Benemérita has recovered effects stolen mopeds, license plates and documentation valued at more than 6,000 euros, which after being brought to court have been returned to their rightful owners.
Agents specializing in Prevention of Public Safety of the Benemérita detected the commission of several crimes of theft of vehicles in the towns of Torre Pacheco and Los Alcázares, so they initiated the corresponding investigation in order to clarify the facts and arrest the perpetrators.
The first investigations carried out allowed the investigators to verify that after the vehicle theft, presumably, there was a group of young people from the Pachequero municipality, some of them minors.
The investigators managed to locate a garage of Torre Pacheco that the suspects allegedly used as a warehouse and clandestine workshop to modify the stolen vehicles.
The theft of a moped during the afternoon of last Thursday, August 23, precipitated the development of the operation and motivated the activation of the exploitation phase, which was carried out, with prior judicial authorization, entry and registration in the property , where the four suspects were also located and arrested, three of them minors.
Inside the registered garage, investigators found an illegal scrapping of mopeds.
Civil guards located three mopeds and other remains of this type of vehicle, which have cuts made with radial, usually in the front fork.
In different mopeds the frame numbers are deleted.
Some of the vehicles found are made up of the remains of others that were previously dismantled and carry plates of stolen license plates.
They also seized helmet cases, stolen license plates and documentation of other vehicles.
The operation has allowed the dismantling of a criminal group, the detention of its four members and the clarification, up to now, of six criminal acts committed in Torre Pacheco and Los Alcázares, not ruling out new actions.
The detainees, the recovered effects and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction of San Javier and Public Prosecutor for Minors of Murcia.
