The event took place at the Torre Pacheco Day Center, and was attended by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Holidays, Yolanda Castaño, the Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Veronica Martinez, the Councilor for Finance and Communication, Carlos López, the president of the Association of Pensioners and Retirees of Torre Pacheco, Francisco Soto, and the Queen of the Holidays 2018, Nadia Férez, as well as neighbors, friends and family.
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco was in charge of imposing the crown on this year's Queen, Ana López Galindo, and the councilors placed the bands at their Court of Honor, Lola Cánovas Zamora and Mª Josefa Martínez.
The users of the Spanish Association against Cancer have been commissioned to hand paint the bands that were imposed on the Queen and her Court.
An act that ended with the traditional Spanish Pasodoble, danced by the Mayor and the Queen.
Antonio León congratulated the Queen and her Court of Honor, encouraging them to participate in all scheduled events and wishing them to enjoy the Patron Saint Celebrations of Torre Pacheco 2018.
