The Local Police of Torre Pacheco has initiated a Training Plan for the entire police group in cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques (CPR), and in the management of semiautomatic external defibrillators (DESA).
An initiative that aims to train this professional group so that, if in their work interventions the case arise, they can practice resuscitation techniques to any person who for various reasons could have entered cardiorespiratory arrest.
The application of these techniques during the first minutes of the incident is vital so that when the health services arrive they can finish recovering the patient with the minimum possible consequences on their health, even saving him from a death.
In Torre Pacheco parties that begin next Friday, October 5, the first agents trained in these sanitary techniques and equipped with semiautomatic external defibrillators will go out to patrol.
Therefore, the last four vehicles purchased by the Local Police are equipped with a DESA unit each.
