Ciudadanos has shown its satisfaction for the reopening of the residence of Prometheus (Association of Parents of Psychic, Physical and Sensory Disabled Persons) that took place this morning in Torre Pacheco and that will welcome ten people.
The act was attended by Luis Fernández, regional deputy of the orange formation, and the spokespersons of Cs in the City Councils of Cartagena and Torre Pacheco, Manuel Padín and Rubén Tardido.
Fernández expressed his satisfaction "because the funds for the reopening of the residence come from a contribution of 50,000 euros made by citizens to the regional budgets of 2017, and for us it is a source of pride that this economic amount has been allocated to improve the conditions of life of people with intellectual disabilities ".
The deputy of Cs has praised the work carried out by the Prometeo Association "because they perform an excellent management of public resources and thanks to their daily effort allows any investment made in them to multiply exponentially.
In addition, its president, Ascensión Méndez, has told us that the residents are adapting perfectly to their new home and that they are very participative in all the activities they are developing, which shows that the opening of this center was a necessity ".
