On Saturday, October 27, 2018, the First Regional Meeting of Municipal Councils for Children and Adolescents of the Region of Murcia was held, organized by the City of San Javier with the collaboration of UNICEF.

On behalf of the Municipal Council of Children and Adolescents of Torre Pacheco took part in this meeting four of the most experienced counselors in this sectorial body of citizen participation: Héctor Jorquera Gómez, IES Gerardo Molina;

Alejandro Cegarra García, of the Concerted Center Pasico II;

Rocío García Armero, of IES Sabina Mora;

and África García Roca, from CEIP El Alba de Roldán.

The objective of these conferences is to promote the networking of the Municipal Councils for Children and Adolescents of the Region of Murcia and promote child and adolescent participation by promoting a space where children and adolescents of the Region can share experiences and establish coordinated proposals for policies and actions that favor their development and well-being.
