A new Association that aims to promote the associative movement of Pacheco, from culture, leisure and free time, understanding that gastronomy is linked to daily life, is a reflection of our customs, our traditions and rituals, our symbols and our social relations
The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León and the Councilor for Communication, Carlos López, receive Ramon Martínez López, president of the newly created Association "Peña Gastronómica BH", and Mariano García member of the board of directors.
An association that claims, according to its president, "to share the cultural values ​​that gastronomy generates as an integrating element and catalyst of a sense of collective identity, which makes us feel a little more pachequeros".
The Mayor has valued the purpose of this Association, highlighting the work of the partners, many of them volunteers and collaborators in other non-profit associations of the municipality.
For his part, Ramón Martínez has invited the Municipal Corporation, as well as the residents of the municipality, to meet and participate in the "Peña Gastronómica BH".
