The City Council of Torre Pacheco signs a contract for the provision of telecommunications service with Vodafone, in order to establish the technical and economic conditions for the provision of the integrated telecommunications service of the Torre Pacheco City Council, which include fixed and mobile telephony services, as well as Internet connections.
The Councilor for Communication and Finance, Carlos López, said that Vodafone continues to provide the mobile telephone and telecommunications service of the Torre Pacheco City Council, a contract that was tendered approximately 5 months ago and that will mean a saving for the Torre Pacheco City Council and an increase in the Provision of Services with this contract, with a duration of 4 years, extendable to 1 more year.

Likewise, the areas of free Internet access available to citizens in libraries and other public spaces will be improved and expanded through FTTH 300 Mbps fiber optic connections. Regarding voice communications, the fixed telephone exchange of the City Council It will be updated to a new version with digital terminals fully integrated with the mobile lines of the City Council staff, and with a greater number of voice channels to be able to take any type of call.
Finally, it will provide greater robustness and availability to the 092 systems, Efax lines and mass messaging services used by the Torre Pacheco City Council.
