The Plenary Hall of the Municipality of Torre Pacheco hosted the International Day of Disability, with the reading of a protest manifesto by Prometheus and a theatrical performance by Aidemar users of the Santa Rosalia Day Center.
The event was chaired by the Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Verónica Martínez along with the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the president of Prometeo Ascensión Méndez, representatives of Aidemar and members of the Municipal Corporation.
Martinez, after welcoming the participants, highlighted the great work of these Associations in the municipality of Torre Pacheco, highlighting the celebration of the International Day of Disability, in order to promote the inclusion of users of Prometeo and Aidemar.
Under the title "The monster of colors", the representation intended to show that all people, with or without disabilities, we feel and have emotions such as joy, sadness, anger, fear, calm ... and love.
A day of music and color in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, which shows that all people are equal.
