One more year and coinciding with the Christmas season is celebrated in Torre Pacheco the traditional Radio Marathon for the benefit of Cáritas, an appeal to the solidarity of the residents of the municipality to collaborate with food and / or money for the most disadvantaged families.
On Thursday, December 20 from 10 in the morning until 9 in the evening, in the Plaza Mayor Pedro Jiménez, and through Radio Torre Pacheco on 87.7 FM, Radio Solidarity Marathon will take place.
A day of coexistence, Radio live with interviews, gatherings, music, where schools, associations, groups, and in which there will be Christmas performances.
Councilor for Youth, Conchi Martinez accompanied by the Parochial Vicar, Blas Damian, the director of Cáritas, José García, and Teodoro Fructuoso director of Radio Torre Pacheco, have presented in the Plaza Mayor Pedro Jiménez, new location of the event, the Radio Solidarity Marathon , encouraging the participation and solidarity of the residents of the municipality.
Volunteers from Cáritas, Civil Protection and the Youth Council will be responsible for the classification and first storage of products donated by neighbors, associations and businesses throughout the day.
