In the morning of today, the councilman of Culture Raul Lledó has presented in the Municipal Public Library of Torre Pacheco the program of activities on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Contest of Short Narrations Villa de Torre Pacheco.
A contest that the City Council of Torre Pacheco has been calling since 1994 in our municipality and that was born with the aim of promoting reading, writing, and also, support the writers and the creative process.
"25 years of reading and writing, our silver wedding, a happy and special event that we want to celebrate with all the residents of Torre Pacheco and with friends and visitors who want to join us next Sunday at the Municipal Library", commented the Councilor for Culture.
On Sunday, December 16, in the Assembly Hall of the Municipal Public Library of Torre Pacheco, from 11:30 a.m. will take place the awards ceremony and the Celebration of the XXV Anniversary of the Contest of Short Narrations Villa de Torre Pacheco, as well as the delivery of the Prize of the VII Short Story Contest organized by the Municipal Public Library of Torre Pacheco.
Next, Juan Manuel de Prada, writer, literary critic and writer will offer a lecture that will deal with literature, books and writing.
At the same time, Periferia Teatro presents Guyi-Guyi, a puppet show in the Children's Reading Park at 12 in the morning, aimed at children and families.
