The company STV Gestión will be responsible for carrying out the collection of solid urban waste and road cleaning in the municipality of Torre Pacheco in the next 4 years
On the morning of today, the contract for the award of solid waste collection and road cleaning services was signed between the City Council of Torre Pacheco and the company STV Gestión.
The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, highlighted the work carried out for the implementation of this service, and noted that it will begin to run on January 1, 2019, with a duration of 4 years renewable for two years, highlighting that Torre Pacheco residents will notice the improvement in services, as the frequency of street cleaning increases, in the neighborhoods and districts of Torre Pacheco.
Reiterating, the improvement of the service with this new contract with STV Gestión.
The new contract with STV Gestión, for an annual amount of € 3,381,440.78, will save 428,000 euros for the Consistory, as noted by the Councilor for Finance, Carlos López.
The total renovation of the container park, which will be new and with double capacity, the elimination of buried containers, the change of the collection system to lateral loading and the adaptation for people with different capacities, as the Councilor of Services and Public Road, Mari Carmen Guillén, are some of the improvements that will be carried out.
On the other hand, the representative of STV Gestión, Juan Alcántara, commented that new hybrid vehicles for the lateral collection of containers will come into service, which will eliminate nocturnal noise, respecting the rest of the neighbors.
In addition, he congratulated the STV Gestión team, reiterating the company's pride in competing with other national level.
