The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'Sotafa', an investigation aimed at clarifying a supposed robbery with violence and intimidation committed in a trade of Torre Pacheco, which has been settled with the investigation of the owner of the same and complainant , which has been instructed diligences as alleged perpetrator of crime of simulation of crime after finding that the theft never occurred.

The owner of the trade reported to the Civil Guard having been the victim of a robbery when she was preparing to close her establishment.
The complainant reported that when she was about to leave the establishment she was surprised by three men, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, who forced her to enter the premises again and stay inside while the authors forced and subtracted the collection of the arcade machines, as well as a large amount of cash that the complainant carried.
According to the alleged victim, after consummating the crime, the alleged perpetrators fled on foot from the site.
After being alerted of the commission of the crime, the civil guards initiated the investigation and practiced a series of steps in order to clarify the criminal act and arrest the perpetrators.
As the investigation progressed, the agents detected some incongruities in the facts denounced by the alleged victim.
Finally and thanks to the recording of security cameras, the civil guards verified that the facts denounced by the owner of the establishment had never occurred, stating that it was a simulated criminal act.
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained, the Civil Guard has investigated the whistleblower, who has been instructed to act as an alleged perpetrator of a crime simulation crime.
