The Popular Party of Torre Pacheco has held on Wednesday the local Congress, which has been chaired by the regional president, Fernando López Miras, consolidating one of its main objectives as a regional leader to undertake a thorough renovation in the 'popular' lists to return to the mayor's office of the city councils, for this reason the majority of the aspirants to the mayoralties of the 45 municipalities will be new faces.
The regional president of the formation has highlighted "the commitment and responsibility" of the new local president of the party, Antonio Jesús Garre, to work on a future project for the Region and Torre Pacheco, and has aimed at "freedom and equality as basic principles of our measures, because without them there is no progress ".
"The Popular Party of the Region of Murcia is at the service of one and a half million Murcia and Torre Pacheco neighbors," remarked Lopez Miras, who has put the municipality as an example of "those municipalities where the party does not govern to which the neighbors gave their confidence as is the case of the PP, but is governed by a pact of losers who came to the mayor putting a complaint that Justice has ended up filing.
For his part, Antonio Jesús Garre thanked López Miras for his "support, trust and respect" and has been willing to "work to make the Popular Party of Torre Pacheco continue to help all the residents of the municipality."
