The PSOE of Torre Pacheco today gave the starting signal to its electoral campaign, under the slogan "For Everything Achieved", which aims to defend the achievements of the Government of Change in Torre Pacheco and the need to continue improving Torre Pacheco with progressive politics.

The Socialist candidate for Mayor, Carlos Lopez, said that "4 years ago the residents of Torre Pacheco bet on turning our municipality and change a situation that was unsustainable", referring to the 12 years of management of the Popular Party.

López stressed that during the last three years "we have taken Torre Pacheco out of the disaster, the debt has been reduced by more than 30 million, we have increased social spending by 66%, fighting against energy poverty and facing the emergency social, we have put our municipality in the lead in the fight for equality of women and the LGTBI collective, we have opted for investments close to the people, in their parks, streets, and squares, and not in pharaonic buildings, we have recovered the investment in the university bus and in the book banks, increased aid to groups of people with disabilities, cultural, and social ... ", and everything governing closely and without leaving anyone behind.

López also affirms that what is at stake in May is to decide between "returning to the past, to debt, to waste, to disorder, to closed offices, to pharaonic works" or to look to the future "with a Torre Pacheco more fair, more supportive, with a City Council close to its neighbors, without debts or mortgages, and given to solve the problems of ordinary people. "
