The municipality of Torre Pacheco is present at the International Tourism Fair, which is being held from now until January 27, at IFEMA Madrid.
The City Council of Torre Pacheco, shows the main tourist offer of the municipality on the stand of the Region of Murcia, highlighting, the International Festival of Cante Flamenco de lo Ferro in its 40th anniversary, the Paleontological Deposit of the Sima de las Palomas in El Cabezo Gordo, in addition to the different routes through the municipality.
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, this afternoon will be presented the International Festival of Lo Ferro in FITUR, Festival that is currently declared of regional tourist interest and that is in process of processing for its declaration of national tourist interest.
The next edition of the International Flamenco Festival of Lo Ferro, will be held from July 18 to July 29, 2019.
The presentation ceremony of the Cante Flamenco Festival will be attended by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, the coordinator of the Festival, Francisco Aparicio, the Councilor for Culture, Raúl Lledó, the Councilor for Communication, Carlos López, the Councilor for Festivals, Yolanda Castaño, the councilor Mari Carmen Martínez, and the president of the Peña Flamenca Melón de Oro, Sebastián Escudero, among other authorities.
Those attending this presentation can enjoy a flamenco musical performance, by Bastián Contreras, singing, Antonio Fernández "El Torero" guitar, and Mamen Baños, dancing.
