The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by the councilor of Urbanism, Alberto Galindo, the pedáneo of El Jimenado, Alejandro Tovar, and members of the Municipal Corporation, as well as representatives of the company Transportes y Triturados de Murcia, awarded the works, have presented in the morning of today, the works that are going to be carried out in the urban center of El Jimenado, works of the first Plan of Works and Services (POS) for 2019, of the six planned for this year in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.

As explained by the councilor of Urbanism Alberto Galindo, several asphalting and paving works will be carried out in several streets of the urban center of El Jimenado, with a budget of 110,154 euros.

Galindo, has detailed the actions to the residents of the town, who wanted to know first hand the works that are going to be made and that consist of asphalt from the streets of the Mayor, Ulea, Avda de Lorca, Caravaca street of the Cruz, Ntra. Sra. De Monserrat and all the side of the Avda. De Murcia, including between the houses and the highway RM-F14.

Also, the construction of a new steel in the two roads to access municipal facilities, Social Center, College and Medical Center.

In addition, on the sidewalks of Caravaca de la Cruz Street, telecommunications services, potable water will be installed and the lighting service will be moved to the new alignment.

Also, Lorca Avenue will install telecommunications services and a forecast for street lighting with the installation of two pipes for future channeling.

The Councilman of Urbanism, during his exhibition has made reference to the works that will be made of asphalt paving, in the streets Francisco García, Moratalla, Aniceto García and Molina de Segura and that are part of the Financially Sustainable Infrastructures, included in the Plan of Financially Sustainable Investments, charged to the surplus for the year 2017. Alejandro Tovar, pedáneo of El Jimenado was grateful to see the needs of the district, and urged the City Council to continue solving the deficiencies that El Jimenado presents.

For his part, Antonio León, stressed that the City Council works to improve the quality of life of the neighbors, trying to solve the problems and deficiencies that presents the hamlet of El Jimenado, also take the opportunity to apologize to neighbors for the disturbances that may occur during the completion of the works, whose completion is scheduled for the end of May.
