The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Education and Youth, Conchi Martínez, and the Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Verónica Martínez, together with the Director of the Children's Traffic Park of Torre Pacheco, José Mercader, and the coordinator- Volunteer, Salvador Martínez, with the help of the children of 5th Primary Education of the CEIP Nuestra Señora del Rosario, of Torre Pacheco, accompanied by the Director of the Center, Begoña Fructuoso, and the group's tutor, Juana Mari Sánchez, has proceeded in the morning of today to the official inauguration of the practical classes in the Infant Park of Traffic of Torre Pacheco, including in the School Course 2018-2019 of Education Road.

Act held in the facilities of the Children's Park of Traffic of Torre Pacheco, located in the Integral Center of Security, with the moderation of the head of the Department of Education Road, Javier Zapata Gallardo.

After the theoretical phase has been carried out, in the classrooms of the different educational centers, and taking advantage of the fact that the good weather begins to be present in the morning of Torre Pacheco, from last February 22nd until the end of May, the children participating in This project is transferred to the Children's Traffic Park, where they carry out the teachings received in their classrooms, and have the opportunity to evolve as pedestrians, and to drive both the bicycles and go-karts in the facility, and along almost two hours, they move through its streets and sidewalks, under the supervision of the monitor of the Park and its tutor, simulating the majority of situations that can occur in their most common trips, when they perform them autonomously.

In this 2018-2019 academic year, 11 Early Childhood and Primary Schools from the municipality of Torre Pacheco participate, with 98 different groups, from 3rd to 6th grade of Primary, and more than 2,200 children will be the beneficiaries of these practical classes, in an installation that has 7 karts with pedals, 2 electric karts, 4 tricycles, 5 small bicycles, 20 cadet bicycles, and a route adapted to the most frequent situations that can be presented to children.
