The City Council of Torre Pacheco, within the Works of the Plan of Financially Sustainable Infrastructures will carry out works for an amount of 52,408 euros in the Plaza Santa Águeda of San Cayetano and Plaza Isidro Madrid in Santa Rosalía.
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, members of the Municipal Corporation and the Mayoress Pedánea of ​​San Cayetano, Francisca Martínez presented the works that are going to be carried out in Santa Cayetano, included in the Plan of Financially Sustainable Infrastructures thanks to the surplus of the City Council of Torre Pacheco of the year 2017.
The works that are going to be undertaken in the Plaza Santa Águeda, consist of the implementation of a children's area with inclusive and adapted games that will have a soft and safe pavement in the children's play area, in accordance with the regulations, and making it accessible , placement of go, bins and banks.
In addition, it will proceed to rehabilitate the entire plaza, as well as gardening and lighting.
These works have a budget of 52,408 euros, along with the rehabilitation works of the Plaza de Isidro Madrid Santa Rosalía, and have an execution period of three months and being the successful bidder, Parques Infantiles del Levante SL.
Another of the actions in the hamlet of San Cayetano, is to renew the asphalt paving of several streets that have significant deficiencies and deterioration.
The streets that are going to be repaired are: Carmen Street, Sixth of December, San José, Bretón de los Hereros, Avileses, Fernando Arrabal, Gutiérrez Mellado and Mercedes Luengo;
with an area of ​​3,616 square meters of asphalt paving.
The pedrera mayor of San Cayetano, Francisca Martinez thanked the performance of the City Council of Torre Pacheco, assessing the effort being made by the Corporation to rehabilitate and repair all those areas that the hamlet of San Cayetano needs.
