The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, and Urban Planning Technicians has presented the actions that will be carried out in the Barrio del Carmen, framed in the Plan of Financially Sustainable Infrastructures, with a budget of 300,000 euros.
Leon has commented that the square is a construction of 30 years ago, so it needs a rehabilitation, as they have demanded numerous times the neighbors of the area.
The actions that are going to be carried out will consist in the integral rehabilitation of the square, with the corresponding change of pavement, in addition the children's games will be adapted to the new safety regulations, they will act in the public lighting, as well as in gardening and will proceed to provide the plaza with better accessibility.
In addition, in the area of ​​the old bowling game, will be located a sports area with elements for sports, with an area for exercise, healthy gymnastics for all ages and especially for the youngest.
