This morning, from 10.00 am, a recreation of a Suffrage Manifestation in Torre Pacheco has been carried out, an activity organized by the Council of Equality of the City Council of Torre Pacheco, with the collaboration of the Cultural Association Modernist Friends of Cartagena.
A recreation that has gone through the urban center, remembering, what women got, and how they fought to achieve many of the rights we now have.
An activity to raise awareness and show society what all women, united, achieved at a given time, as was the right to vote.
A recreation by the Cultural Association Modernist Friends of Cartagena, dressed in period, with banners, and distribution of carnations with message, sharing the day of this Saturday morning, with the neighbors of the town.
