Today, Monday, March 11 at 11 in the morning in the Plaza de Mayor Pedro Jiménez, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on March 11, 2004 in Madrid and coinciding with the European Day of Victims of Terrorism, the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, along with members of the Municipal Corporation, and residents of the municipality, has kept a minute of silence at the gates of the City Hall, in the Plaza Mayor Pedro Jiménez, as a sign of rejection and memory of the victims.

Torre Pacheco City Council joins the initiative of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) to express the rejection of any type of terrorist violence by local councils.
